Technical Sales Engineer – Full Time Job Opportunity

Exciting opportunity for a Sales Engineer position. Grow our customer base, and earn sales commission with your knowledge of electrical engineering / industrial automation and control. A salary as well as uncapped commission is offered.
Basic technical knowledge is required in electrical engineering with regards to volts, amps, and resistance, as well as an understanding of measurements for pressure, level, flow, temperature, and industrial automation for sales to existing and potential customers.
The candidate for this job offer should be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, able to work on their own, and be passionate about learning new technologies and succeeding in the control & automation industry. Innovation and initiative are always valued.

A probation period of up to 3 months will be required to determine if the candidate is a good fit for the company.

Responsibilities:

Sales into existing and new customers as well as researching prospective companies, populating Excel sheets with customer contact information, phone calls, and customer visits.

  • The job location will be in Sherman Oaks, and travel to the office will be required on a daily basis.
  • Experience with industrial instrumentation and/or technical processes is a plus, but training will be provided. The technology involved is mainly Wireless Transmitters, Remote IoT, Water Analyzers, Signal Converters, Electronic controllers, and general industrial instrumentation.
  • Digital marketing, and customer relations mainly within California, but also the entire USA.
  • Formulating proposals and quotes, and customer follow ups.
  • Construct customized e-mails for sales and industrial solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Power-point, and Outlook.
  • Reporting to management on a daily/weekly basis, and other general office administration.
  • Anything else required for the operation and growth of the company.

Training

Full training will be provided on the analyzers, controllers, transmitters, and associated control equipment. The candidate should be motivated and interested in learning and understanding how industrial processes and automation work, and how the technology can provide solutions for the industry. Training will be in the Sherman Oaks, CA area.
