Salinity Analyzer and Control System

The RealTech Controls Model ETX Salinity Analyzer utilizes an ECD S80 Conductivity sensor that converts the analog signals from the electrode cartridge into a digital protocol that allows two-way communications with the transmitter. The Salinity is calculated and displayed as % Salt per Weight. The identity of the sensor, measurement type, and serial number, are stored in the sensor’s memory along with three calibration registers. The large, back-lit display shows the measurement (or both measurements if dual channel), temperature, relay statuses, and mA % output. When connected to the ETX digital analyzer, the sensor’s information is uploaded to the analyzer configuring the display and outputs of the transmitter to the values appropriate to the sensor’s measured parameter.

Model: ETX + S80

Description

The Model ETX Universal Transmitter is used in combination with the S80 Conductivity sensor to achieve a cost effective Salinity Control System. The Salinity is calculated as % Salt per Weight, and the Conductivity is also displayed. Single and Dual channel transmitters are available for cost-effective multi variable monitoring and control. The ETX is fitted as standard with mA outputs for the measured variable(s), 3 x programmable relay outputs for control and alarms, and MODBUS RTU. The S80 sensors are available as insertion style with a 3/4″ MNPT compression fitting, as well as Retractable ball valve style sensors for easy removable from a pressurized process.
