Titration analysis with the CA900 Alkalinity Analyzer calculates Alkalinity by dispensing known doses of a titrant fluid into a reaction cell while monitoring the pH level to its end point. The analyzer then uses the titrant concentration and amount dispensed to calculate the level of Alkalinity measurement.
Total Alkalinity is measured by measuring the amount of acid needed to bring the sample to a specified pH endpoint. At this pH, all the alkaline compounds in the sample are “used up”. The result is reported as ppm or milligrams per liter of calcium carbonate (ppm or mg/l CaCO3).
The CA900 Titration Analyzer for Alkalinity measurement is extremely easy to install and commission, typically within 15 minutes. Simply connect the sample, waste, and reagent lines and power up the factory pre-calibrated analyzer. Wall mounting hardware is included with each analyzer, and there is an optional bench top stand with reagent holder also available.
